whats with da smelly water?

may be some of u might not notice but the tap water smells of shXX....especially the ones in the office since yesterday. actually if not mistaken, i think the one at home already stinks on sunday prolly due to the heavy rain overnight. today in the papers, i read the smell is caused by high level of ammonia in the water source. heavy rain from Sat nite sure flooded a lot of places in the klang valley. the water supply from Sungai Selangor which is the main water source has been overflowed by dirty water from ponds into the river which causes the increase of ammonia. according to the Health Ministry, the water is safe for consumers to be used. hmm...with that kinda freaky smell....u think its safe to be consumed? i have doubts....if the smell still continues...i think i gotta get huge bottles of mineral water to bath...no shiettttt....

on my way to the office...i saw DBKL trucks and lorries parked outside the office...they've been there since yesterday. news had it they r tearing down the next door's building and the ones nearby to build something...blah...not sure...

hope my office is not demolished...otherwise i will b jobless....no joke.

sorry but u can't cincai cut queues man!

while waiting for the train (LRT) to arrive this morning. there was this uncle who cut the long queue as if it was made of fresh cream. well, is it because one is less capable or half cacat (handicapped) cos he was walking dragging one feet with a tongkat (walking can). seems like nobody dare to sound him. harlo....i know its unethical to scold an elderly person but jus because u carry a tongkat and drag urself thru the crowds does not mean u can just cut the long queues...i just have to say...this is not the worst scenario but this is malaysian for u. i'm not trying to make malaysia's image bad but ppl has gotta change...for the better. danggggg!

here's what i've been doin for the past few days...

fri nite was spent chilling out with ah lai, joey, jessie and charmaine and also some other new frens. there was a performance goin on at sunway pyramid's Halo Cafe by this malaysian made famous taiwanese singer called ling yu sen. well...i'm not very familiar with chinese singers... call me 'persimmon' cos i'm not good at english and certainly not good at mandarin though i studied mandarin till form 3. haha....talk about being 'banana'(chinese who doesn't speak chinese and only converse in english).... as blur as sotong (squid) i didn't know what was the occasion about cos everytime joey always asked me to join 'em for karaoke session(i hate to sing k) and yum char and i seem to reject them but being a good sport, for once i think i should just join them for fun. ah lai and i went to book a place at Halo Cafe before joey and charmaine joined us. when we got there, the list was already more than 20 names waiting in queue. i was already feeling shitty and hungry plus i think i was having gastric pain again. ah lai suggested to go for dinner at Kim Gary.

saturday was spent basically doing nothing. haha... woke up around 11-ish and cooked myself brunch...and this is how it looks like...got the photo displayed on my msn and someone commented it look like flowers...lol (its actually beef + potato + red cabbage + garlic + red onions + tomato fried altogether...its not much but it taste fine)

after brunch, i decided to bum around in my room and watch Full House (korean drama series). though i hate watching sappy korean dramas...this one is different. its funny, addictive (though i ain't a big fan of korean dramas but damn i gotta give credits to this one here) chun chiq Song Hye Gyo plays the bubbly clueless lead actress and Rain (Jung Ji Hoon) plays the lead actor in Full House.

Saturday nite, kenny and i crash Saxophone again for the continuiation of Hardsequence. hard dance have never been better. i was there mainly to see this guy mix.

the minute we left the club, it was pouring...and before long it was rainning cats and dogs and we headed for old klang rd for yum char session at Manja, a mamak restaurant. the guys were talking bout cars, gals...some was feeling nauseous cos too much drinks n one slept soundly on the chair....and suddenly the frigging loud thunder got everyone awake!....frigging stupid thunder....grrr....it was still pouring when we decided to cabut so some of us can get quality sleep. i got home around 5-ish...showered, and continue watching Full House till i can't get my eyes to open anymore...so that was saturday for u.

well...sunday was pretty much spent on Full House marathon too. haha went to this mamak in klang during the late evening. the weird thing bout this mamak is....there is no signage....yes...no sign board man....how can? pei yee was telling me they r famous cos they aint got a sign board...lol...crazzzieee o_@

heaps of uncertainties cloud my head lately:

i: I used to think studying was a waste of time and no fun. now that i'm working. i think otherwise. so what i heard from those young workin adult years ago were actually no hoax.

ii: I'm having quarter life crisis.

iii: I'm not happy with my job.

iv: I wish I have more money. or earn more.

v: I want a big warm hug.

vi: procrastinating way too much.

vii: does love really exist?

viii: bored of routines.

viiii: bored of doing nothing (productive)

x: i hate my life now...

boogie time not

there's really nothing interesting to rant about. sat nite was spent temaning my kai jie to her ex colleague's birthday party which was held in Bar Savanah. as u can see...i did not snap much photos. by all means, i didn't really shoot much due to the fact i did not wanna freak out her frens jus cos i'm some blogger who is crazy bout shooting from anything to everything. lol ;p so yea. the party was alrite i guess. was introduced to all her frens. though i must say i do look a bit out of place cos almost everyone there was years ahead of me i presume...(as in age) :P so i spend my evening sitting quietly at the corner looking at hot chiqs...mind u...*jus looking. no actions taken yea. the crowds there was alrite i guess. a lot of mat salleh there too. the music they play there is of R&B. one thing for sure, its very humid inside though the air cond is blowing directly towards the room. if u r looking for a place to chill and dance, and lotsa mat salleh to drool...this is the place to go. though i prefer the Loft which is few doors away. that was it for sat nite. aint life boring o wad...spend whole day sleeping in til noon. cleaned my room, swept and mopped the whole house. watch vcd, play basketball and more tv. lol that is sunday for u. anyways, have a productive week ahead yo!

over the weekend

friday night:

its suppose to be kenny's kai mui farewell party but was asked to tag along...so i did. went to this place in Mount Kiara called Clear. its suppose to be a chill out place...anyways...we went...i got bored...my other fren Sun who tagged along was bored n we started taking photos despite talking to the gals sitting next to me went a bit uninteresting...lets just say i wasn't in the mood to pick up any gals....and yes...almost of the ppl there don't even know one another....sort of like a stranger party get together....

see i was so kuai.. i 'didn't' drink any alcohol that night. and so it seems....

after 1 hour and 45 mins of boredom...yea i counted, we headed down to kl to Poppy Garden cos my frens were drinking and asked me to join 'em. when we reached there its already 1.30am so u can imagine how packed it is inside. the pic below was taken b4 i was ahem *cough* forced by steven and joy into drinking....

I feel shy at the same time and it sure sounds kinky doncha think so? lol :P bumped into quite a few other frens there too...

saturday afternoon:

went to meet up with vivian at Mid Valley cos i promised her i would bring her some CNY goodies (food la...what else...ang pao meh?hehe) had lunch at this restaurant...ok...i'm really bad with names and i didn't take snap the restaurant's logo....hhaa. nothing much to rant about there....just eat, chat and walk around...oh yea...and went to get my grocery for the week ahead.

saturday night:

this wasn't planned and was a last min change of plan. headed to Saxophone cos couldn't get a table at Cynna. yeah...the Bass Agents were playing there and there's one more coming month on the 25th. a follow up of Hardsequence. ahha...i was walking around saw some ppl shuffling at the back....and those faces look so frigging familiar. thrilled to see the melbourne peeps again!

starting anew

well...i thought...y not start my own blog...so here i am...new blog...haven't had time to design the layout yet...had a hair cut too yesterday. its time to get my messy hair a trim n change. yesterday after work, i went to Wangsa Maju to check out the saloon or some more call it hair salons. there's actually heaps of options in that area. was checking them out and one of my frens recommend this shop called Spins. i reckon the price is a bit off my budget cos i was looking for something 'cheap n chic'. so we walked further down the street and saw this shop called Miko...

at that time, i'm still a bit hesitate whether i shud go in n try....so check the price on the window...and it says RM20 for dry cut...ok 'on'. (actually my colleague tried their service b4 and she reckon its good...might as well....no harm trying rite?) went in, the lady at the counter greet me and ask if i wanna have a dry cut or wash and cut. of cos i told her dry cut straight away. and i was shown to the seat desinated for me...sat down...and ask if i wanted which hair stylish. i told her anyone of them will do. so this dude...armed with tattoos covering on his left arm came over, with specs and kinda funky hairstyle was assigned to 'do' my hair. i reckon he is a junior cos the way he handle the scissor is not there yet. after 45 mins of patient hair cut by this patient apprentice, this is the end result (well, actually took it this mornin) ok...i look nerdy here...fine. hehe but u know what, later that evening, i found out there r more salons that offer cheaper price. lol call me cheapstake hehe :P

was reading kinkybluefairy's blog and i must say i do agree with her on her thoughts about vday. well, me for one doesn't seem to understand y would ppl pay so much for a date on today, yes valentine's day. its too commercialised for gawd sake. everwhere u go, prices r either double or more. why must one devote themselves to their love's one on this very day when one can shout out their love on any given day. maybe not everyone agree on this. some might say cos its Valentine's Day...and its only right to shower their love ones with gifts, dinner and other romantic (overly expensive) dinner. take my frens for instant. they celebrate this day extra early so they dont have to squeeze with the lovely dovey crowds. just my thoughts for this very day. ahha...and yea, i'm suffering from SAD (single awareness day) symdrome...hahah....alritey...time to get off work and head home now, as it was raining and i din bring my umbrella this morning...happy vday ppl!
